Ginger Garlic Soup

For 12-13 servings of 200 ml each

Ginger( 4 inch piece)

Garlic( 2 bulbs)
Salt(1 ½ tsp or as per taste)
Turmeric Powder( ½ tsp)
Clarified butter/desi ghee/oil of your choice( 1 tbsp)
Water (15 cups)

Recipe:
1. Make a smooth paste of the ginger and garlic combined.
2. Heat 1 tbsp clarified butter in a big pot ( approximately, 5 quart pot).
3. Add the ginger garlic paste to the butter and saute it well at medium heat.
4. Add turmeric powder and saute it.
5.Add salt and water and bring it to a boil at high heat.
6. Allow the soup to simmer at medium-high heat, till it reduces to 2/3 rd of its quantity.
7. Enjoy the soup with a dash of black pepper!
