Banana bread (eggless)



Dry ingredients
1 cup whole wheat flour / aata
1/2 tsp baking powder 
1/2 tsp baking soda 
A pinch of salt 
2 Tbsp walnut pieces
Chocolate chips  (optional- I completely avoid these now)

Wet Ingredients
2 bananas 
1/4 cup sugar 
3 Tbsp melted butter 
1/4 cup dahi OR 3 Tbsp ground flax seeds
1/2 tsp vanilla essence 

Method 
  1. Preheat oven to 375 deg F / 190 deg C. 
  2. Combine the dry ingredients in a bowl. 
  3. Mash bananas in another bowl. 
  4. Add sugar and mix well. 
  5. Stir in melted butter, dahi (or flax seed powder) and vanilla essence. 
  6. Add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture. 
  7. Grease the pan, then pour in batter. (I make mine quiet thick so it is never pouring consistency) 
  8. Bake for about 30 - 35 minutes.
  9. Do the toothpick test to see if bread is done (insert toothpick in center, if it comes of clean then it's done.)
